Money Doesn’t Matter & Death Never Do Us Apart

Pravin (not the real name), is his 50s, is not a person that I have met before, not until the day of his funeral. He was one of the higher ranking officer in the place my husband works. A person he came to know only for the past five months since he joined this new workplace. Pravin’s nine years old son was running around not realizing the lost. His wife was well composed and personally thanked everyone that came to bid a final farewell to her husband. I saw her sorrow and I felt her lost. The hand that hold her 11 years ago and said “till death do us apart” and the shoulder she seek out for courage is no more there and never will be. Death never separates anyone, it leaves a deep wound and unbearable pain that will haunt you every now and then and no money or gold can heal that.
Among all the higher ranking officers we had/have, Pravin was exceptional, said a person. He was a great leader, said another and he had so much plans to feed the younger generation with the knowledge that he gained all this years in the industry, said my husband. It is very common that people talk nice things once you are no more…Human Nature. But Pravin was without doubt a towering figure; given that my husband have been talking about him very much ever since the day he was introduced to him.
While this conversation was taking place, a lady came and tapped my shoulder. She asked if I was Pravin’s family member. I told I am not. She asked if I know any. Given that I and my husband had a small conversation with Pravin’s brother. I told her I know him and I can show who this brother was. To my surprise, she was Pravin’s first cousin and the ugly fact was she doesn’t even recognize them.
Yes, when you die, nobody talks about how much money you earned or how big a house you owned but how good you were as a human being. And obviously you wouldn’t want to ask a stranger who your first cousin is!!!!

How Much I Have Grown Up To Be Just Like My MOM !!!

I have literally lost count of the number of times I have got into an argument with my mother for asking her not to help people who never appreciated her. She is one person that practices unconditional love without even knowing it. She has endless care and love for her loved one. I have always preached to her that she should ignore people who never acknowledge her…Irony is that I do the same thing now, can never say no to those who ask help from me….those who appreciates and don’t appreciate and even if I don't know them...if they come for help I do give them a hand...!!!

On the lighter note : My friends always say that I should wear the shawl to look more elegant whenever I wear a Punjabi suit to work…Didn’t know why I never liked using it…until recently I found out that my mom doesn’t like it either :)

DEBTS

It is the month of August, on the shores of the Black Sea. It is
raining, and the little town looks totally deserted. It is tough
times, everybody is in debt, and everybody lives
on credit.

Suddenly, a rich tourist comes to town.
He enters the only hotel, lays a 100 Euro note on the reception
counter, and goes to inspect the rooms upstairs in order to pick one.

The hotel proprietor takes the100 Euro note and runs to pay his debt
to the butcher.

The Butcher takes the 100 Euro note, and runs to pay his debt to the pig grower.
The pig grower takes the 100 Euro note, and runs to pay his debt to
the supplier of his feed and fuel.

The supplier of feed and fuel takes the 100 Euro note and runs to pay
his debt to the town prostitute that in these hard times, gave her
service on credit.

The hooker runs to the hotel, and pays off her debt with the 100 Euro
note to the hotel proprietor to pay for the rooms that she rented when
she brought her clients there.

The hotel proprietor then lays the 100 Euro note back on the counter
so that the rich tourist will not suspect anything.

At that moment, the rich tourist comes down after inspecting the
rooms, and takes his 100 Euro note, after saying that he did not like
any of the rooms, and leaves town.

No one earned anything.

However, the whole town is now without debt, and looks to the future
with a lot of optimism.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how the United States Government is
doing business today.

And if that doesn't scare the hell out of you then you are brain dead!
